Under most circumstances, titles are required on all trailers.
We do make exceptions in some cases, but documentation is
required. The exceptions are as followed:
- Seller resides in a non-titling state. Documentation
that is required is: A signed statement giving the vehicle
description, including VIN #, that it has resided in
a non-titling state. If possible, a correctly transferred
MSO.
- Seller registered the vehicle with farm tags and therefore
the state your trailer is registered in does not require
it to be titled. Decumentation that is required is: A signed
satement giving the vehicle description, including VIN#,
that it was registered as a farm trailer but never titled
in the state and a copy of the current registration. If
possible a correctly ransferred MSO too.
