Ranch Ropes at Coolhorse

There are increasingly more arena ropers in the world today than there were a few years ago. Most of us are using a poly calf rope or a nylon/poly blend team rope ranging from 30’-35’ in length. Even though some ropers have moved on from the “ranch” style ropes, there are still lots of guys using them. We have quite a selection of ranch ropes here at Coolhorse in many different lengths. Double Diamond This rope is made from 3 strands of aged nylon similar to a rawhide riata when it comes to pliability, but is as strong as a nylon. It comes in 5/16” and 3/8” scant in 50’ and 60’ lengths. You can also choose the lay from Soft, X-Soft, XX-Soft and XXX-Soft. This rope comes with a metal Montana Buckaroo honda on it. STS Ranch Rope The 4 strand Cactus STS Ranch rope is 100% Poly. It has a 10.5mm diameter that is 35’ long. This rope is going to be very similar to the Cactus Destiny calf rope, but made to stand up to the tough ranch work. Ranch Rope The Cactus Ranch Rope is a 100% nylon rope. It comes only in a 7/16” scant and an XS lay. This rope is 35’ long. This rope is a 3 strand, but plenty durable for every day ranch work. Fast Back Ranch Rope The 4 strand Fast Back Ranch rope is a 100% nylon rope made out of the same top quality material as their team ropes. This rope only comes in an XS lay and 37’ long. Buckaroo The Cactus Buckaroo ropes is made out of nylon, and has a red strand through it. It is a 3 strand rope that is an XS lay. It is available for order in a 5/16”, 3/8”, or 7/16” diameter. The most popular lengths are the 40’ and 45’, but you can also order 50’, 60’, 70’, or can be custom cut to any length. Grant Ranch Rope The 4 strand Grant Ranch rope is made from New England solar aged nylon with a red tracer strand. It can also be made out of poly rope upon request. You can order this rope in 5/16”, 3/8” scant, 7/16” scant or 7/16” full. This rope can also be ordered in XS-MS lays and from 35’ to 80’ in length.
